    Description

    A stunning 38-star printed American flag on cotton. The flag dates to 1876-1890, when Colorado joined the Union as the 38th state. This printed flag boasts a unique box pattern of stars. A square of 16 stars, composed of a 4/4/4/4 row pattern, is surrounded by a perimeter of 22 stars, with 6 stars on top and bottom and 5 stars on the sides. The flag is fully hemmed with a white thread in a running stitch. The sleeved hoist has its original twisted rope from past display.
