    Description

    I'm a Civil War collector so I don't know much about this spear.  I'll let the experts and the bidding tell the story.  I believe that this is some kind of African spear, maybe a Zulu or Maasai weapon.  Not sure if used for hunting animals or humans.  Maybe both.  The spear is 26 inches long with a 7 inch blade that is 1 3/4 inch wide.  The socket is a little over 5/8.  The shaft is just about 3/8 and has no bend to it.  A fierce looking weapon to come flying thru the air at you.
