Description

Adorable antique celluloid biskoline 9 1/2" long. This unique doll was manufactured 1910 to 1920. They used a special formula to strengthen the celluloid. It was called Biskcoline and was much stronger than celluloid. There are some lite flaws on the finish, which i have tried to show in the photos. The doll has lasted beautifully thru the years, with one repair on the back of the thigh. It is strung securely with the original spring. The outfit the doll is wearing is an antique cotton slip, lovely knit dress and crochet bonnet. It displays beautifully and is a wonderful cabinet size. This doll has an interesting history and is perfect for anyone looking to add something different to their collection.
