    Quad ESL-57 Electrostatic Speakers
    This offering is for a pair of original Quad ESL-57 Full-Range Electrostatic Speakers.  They are in near mint condition, and have been well taken care of.  The screens are satin black with teak side trim.  The screens are practically free of dents or scratches, and the side trim and legs are in excellent condition. Estimated production date is around 1980.  Please refer to the photos for more detail.
    It’s time for us to downsize our living quarters, so I need to part with much of my cherished hi-fi equipment.  The reputation of the 57’s is well documented, so if you are not familiar with their specifications or incredible sound reproduction, there are many web resources to consult.
    This pair includes the original Quad “clamp board” protection circuits, professionally rebuilt original high tension power supplies, and factory-supplied IEC power inputs/cords.  No mods and no issues- just beautiful music!  Copies of Quad literature, including the Owner’s Manual will be included.
    Although they are built quite well, the 57’s are too rare and risky to ship, so I’m listing them as pick-up only.  I can also deliver the Quads to you (or meet you) in the Seattle/Puget Sound region.  Payment may be made through eBay, by cash or PayPal.
