Vassar College Silver Plate Dormitory Tablespoons Knives Sugar RARE.  In the late 19th century through the 1920s meals were prepared in the dormitories at Vassar College.  The women would eat in the dorm dining rooms and use fabulous heavy silver-plate at the time specially made for Vassar College.  This stuff is VERY RARE, most has been lost over the last century.  Here you have an opportunity to acquire 5 table spoons (8") - more commonly called a serving spoon today, 1 sugar spoon (6") and 6 butter knives (6 3/8").  If you have ties to Vassar this is a fabulous find.  You may never find this stuff again!  This is a piece of old Vassar history.  If you're curious I am Vassar College class of '79.
