    Description: unusual celluloid doll of a football player. Hands, feet, and head, are celluloid, body is stuffed with excelsior woodshavings. Back of head is marked "JAPA", not JAPAN which I think is sort of interesting.
    Age or era: circa 1930s, maybe early 40s?
    Condition: From an old warehouse, so never played with, celluloid has no wear or cracks. No rot to body. There is some ink or dye transfer stains on the body which can be seen in the photos
    Size: almost 8" tall
    Made in Japan
